Correctly Setting Up the Strong Hold Sensor

Fold the cloth near the point of urination by holding it between your fingers and thumbs. Lift the lever and insert the folded cloth into the open sensor.

Attach the sensor on outside of your child’s underwear.

To start monitoring for bedwetting events, insert the sensor plug into the sensor jack. The alarm unit will beeps, vibrates and flashes a light.

 

Cleaning the Strong Hold Sensor

If your Shield alarm is giving you false alarms, it is likely that you need to clean the strong hold sensor. Follow the simple steps below.

Disconnect the sensor from the alarm unit by unplugging the plug from sensor jack.

Lift the lever to detach sensor from the underwear.

Clean the inside of the sensor with soapy water and a small toothbrush.

Shake the sensor to remove excess water.

Wipe with an absorbent cloth to ensure the sensor is completely dry before reuse.

Reinsert the sensor into the alarm unit to begin monitoring for bedwetting events again.
