Help with Shield Max Bedwetting Alarm

If the light on your Shield alarm unit is continuously on, follow the steps below

  • The Shield Bedwetting Alarm has low battery detection. Most likely the batteries of the alarm unit are week and need to be replaced. When the batteries are low the LED lights up and button is unresponsive. If this is the case, please remove old batteries and replace with new AAA batteries.

If you have replaced batteries in the Shield Alarm but the alarm will not stop beeping

    • It is likely that you need to clean the sensor. Please follow the simple steps below to rinse and clean the sensor. Disconnect the sensor from the alarm unit by unplugging the plug from sensor jack.

Lift the lever to detach sensor from the underwear.

Clean the inside of the sensor with soapy water and a small toothbrush.

Shake the sensor to remove excess water.

Wipe with an absorbent cloth to ensure the sensor is completely dry before reuse.

Reinsert the sensor into the alarm unit to begin monitoring for bedwetting events again.
